A poem by Ariana Yerovam

The Sight of Falling

As we rise nobody is there to see us

As we fall nobody there to catch us

Our world is spreading

Dividing

Melting

We are not there to watch it fall beneath us

What will happen when our bubbles pop

We will look

And we will grasp

We will see

And we will know

The sight of falling

A tornado of rejoicing

A cyclone of reconciliation

As we get back up on our feet

Despite the colossal quake

As we rise and rise and rise

We will fall all over again
